frog brat front axles falling out?

is there a decent fix for the front axles on the frog/brat/scorcher? took the kids brat out for its maiden voyage, and within 3 minutes the right front wheel fell off. The is press-fit into the knuckle.
Is there an adhesive that will keep it in place better?
is it possible to center drill and tap the axle and screw it in from behind? there does not appear to be much clearance in the carrier. Maybe if I change the socket head screw to a 4-40 button head there will be enough space.

Any ideas?

I would use some red locktite and jam it back in there. I've heard of people drilling through and using a longer screw too. I haven't tried the drilling solution but red locktite has worked for me without incident.

I had to drill and tap the axle to accept a flat head screw to hold it in on my Frog. I tried the red loctite 2 different times and it failed eventually.

Tried the red loctite over the weekend. put on a liberal amount after degreasing, then used a c-clamp to press the axle in firmly and let it sit clamped overnight. Ran a full pack through yesterday with no problems.
Thanks for the help!
