Hey guys got the lathe fixed and shot some video while I was making some parts for a fellow member. Enjoy the video. You experienced machinists don't bash too hard, I am sensitive

Glad you liked the heli videos. I can now fly the thing. Training was pretty rough and I broke several blades in the process.

That's the fun part of it. Learning process on those is never easy, takes times and a lots of extras parts...

. Btw, nice and good job on the front post. What else have you made?

Thanks, the heli is fun to fly.
I have made all kinds of thigs, shock collars, spring cups, milled a couple chassis's, made some parts for a buddies dirt bike, gun parts, turned down some shocks, etc. This is the first time I have shot a video while machining. I figured I would set up a camera and shot some footage while I was going at it.

Your video can't more explicit and makes it look like a peace of cake.

You know, I didn't even take a pic of the final product. Sorry. They are already packaged up and getting ready to go to the post office.
Basically it was a .953 long post, tapered on one end, with 4-40 threads on each end. I will make another video soon of me machining some shock collars and I will be sure to show the final product.
