Gary I built that 95 for Chad Martin (Chiprandall) a few years ago. Chad loved the Schueys
Rick i have some new side pods here for you (sorry i forgot to include a set) but they arent realy needed. I used to double side tape and cable tie my electrics to the chassis gates.

thanks I cant get over how smooth the suspenion works on this car. this is almost as old as most of my Losi's and it is smoother than all but my New built XXX. but it has only been built for a month. I am sure this car has been together much longer.

Good cars. The drive shafts came in three different colors, blue, silver and red. The different colors denoted what length they were. DO be careful though, as they are made from hardened aluminum arrow shaft material and are fragile when taking an impact. You may think about replacing them with a more modern steel version from Schumacher. They are rare, and it would be sad (to me anyways) to see a set get broken. My 2c, keep us updated -Jeff

Those particular shafts (the aluminum ones on your car), I don't think you could find easy. However, replacements of the all steel variety should not be too difficult. My original CAT 2000 prototype cars had the arrow shaft universals pictured on your car. My CAT 2000 EC had the steel versions, and I believe successive versions should also have them. I would bet someone here would be willing to trade you NIP sets for the ones on the car. I would love to give you part #'S, but I have been out of the Schumacher loop for some time now. I would write to Shumacher, and ask about a replacement for those particular shafts. Or call, and talk to Phil Booth (a longtime engineer), or Robin Schumacher. Those are the only two that I know that have been there for that long, and they should be able to help. -Jeff

I tried calling Schumacher USA today and the number was disconnected at least the one I have on the catalog? I have these that came with it, should I run these?

Those axles are the steel UJoint axles that replaced the red alloy ones. THe alloy axles usually bend with impact, or high torque. Although the 17.5 motor used for the VONAT's is not that much to worry about. The car looks good, we run a couple of Cougar 2000's and Cat 2000's. FAST!!!.....
Hopefully see you there. You wont be able to miss me.
BTW, Schumacher USA is closed all parts are now bought directly from Schumacher UK

YES! Good luck for you!. If those are the right length, I would definatelly run them. Just install them and see if they are the right length. Or you could measure pin length with a set of calipers, etc. -Jeff
BTW -Just clean them, keep them oiled, and they will last for ever (at least mine did anyway).
