-"91 World's" RPM black tub-

well, I took some pics of my last restored RC10, I took a lot of fun cleaning, oiling, dyeing, sandpapering and polishing every part... I think it took me 3 afternoons to complete it, the house was covered with plastic bags, boxes, tools and parts... hard to clean it all before the wife gets back (she doesn't like that much when I take care of my rigs while we're together, but still she's making some kind of progresses

).
But, let's be serious here and boring

(for those who still manage to catch up with every thread here), the original car had pretty much the same set-up, I only replaced the chassis which was a used gold tub with red paint on it

, I'll post a pic of it later on... the new chassis is a "B" stamped black tub I got from the eBay lot not so long ago and has been adapted to fit the RPM "91 World's" set-up. As for the sanded edges, I took some inspiration from Dirtynator's car, really a cool mod IMO...
The original gold shock bodies were really in bad shape and decided to remove the ano and polish them, cool result, but a hard job when you don't have any dedicated tools at hand

Oh well, it is now finished and I have to think about my next project, so enjoy!

Love the all black look

Thats what i'm trying to do with my Team Car Restro right now (how hard is nylon dye to find these days??).
I reckon some carbon towers would look even better though

WalMart carries the RIT dye.

The car is just brilliant. Personally, I like the contrast black/fiberglass parts.
Good job,
Mannekenpis.
Cool

I like the look of it also. I think the only thing I would change is to take the annodizing off the top of the shocks and make them all polished. It would also look cool witht he wing tubes and front braces polished
