If your looking for replacement parts, I.E. a-arms, gears, bodies etc... just search the part# at towerhobbies.com. as far as radio gear goes, If you not looking to go orig. just look on craigslist and ebay. A lot of the traxxas and HPI stuff shows up real cheap from time to time.

Well what exactly do you need to get it running?

I don't know if you can find anything cheaper than this but look on craigslist and ebay for:
Traxxas XL5 esc (i got mine for $15)
Traxxas Transmitter and reciever (I got both for $25)
And you can find brushed motors in the $20 range new, you can go as low as a 12turn with the XL5.

That's just to get the "car running". If your not too big on Traxxas stuff and want to go "cheap" just look on craigslist for cheap cars that have electronics. I've gotten cars in the $20 - $50 range just for the electronics. Sometimes you get lucky

Value? to who? To him or "us"? or???

I think it's worth the time that he has put into them-

Doug Carter here said it best ( and I think Melvin as well ) collecting RC cars based on future values or higher values is not going to work out for ya 99% of the time-

ya i understand that......i was just thinking about something the RC dealer here said about it............that is was very rare and very expensive even in the poor dirty condition it was in when i first got it
