Can you still buy the nylon spring preload adjusters like what came on the gold rc10 shocks? Any thing available from another manufacturer or do I need to resort to using preload clips? I don't care if they look stock I just like the adjustability of the origonal ones

You can find them on epay every now and then. They are no longer made and it sucks. I hate the clips.
edited to add, Bigjeeps makes a nice set of aluminum ones! it wouldn't hurt to get ahold of him and see if he will make some out of nylon?

I love the clips, keeps everything even from side to side. That's one reason I don't like threaded shock bodies.
Before threaded shock bodies became widely available, the dirt oval guys loved the clamps because they were easier and faster than clips (I agree for that purpose), but just after Associated discontinued them they had to use these $20 machined aluminum ones from HG. This is like 10 years ago. HPI clamps might fit, but they do that thing where they sell a whole tree of parts for one shock, so it might be like $5 per tree. You do get a lot of spacers and spring clips though.
