New to me A stamp chassis

So, I put some pictures of this buggy in the e-bag forum but I have spent just a little while cleaning it up and looking over issues. The pan is extremely clean, I'd say new built, possibly never run. There are two or three very tiny marks on the tail of the tub that might indicate that it bottomed out once. The reset of it and the nose plate are devoid of any run marks. The wheel faces are obviously not stock, does anyone know what they are? The stock wheel backs were painted black. In the front of the car there are three oddball rod ends in place of stock ball cups, turnbuckles rather than plain rod on the steering links. Someone installed a large nut under the front motor mount instead of the proper washer stackup. The left hand front swaybar solder is broken. Missing the right front nose tube. Missing battery cup and strap as well as the antenna mount. Rear shock collars are some aftermarket units. No wing. No body. One extra hole in the right rear A arm - apparently the builder decided to relocate the rear sway bar mount. A little rust on exposed metal. Missing diff rings and gearThe good news is I think i have all the necessary parts hanging around to make this a perfect box stock example. It's easily the nicest one i have!
To borrow a term from our friends across the pond - I'm chuffed!

Not going to race this one. I have several others in less good condition that I can run.

Maybe I missed it but who made those shock collars? Never saw those before. They look kinda cool but I don't know about on this car!

Thanks Johnny for the offer. I think i have everything I need to finish this one. I'm in the process of robbing a few parts from another car that doesn't deserve them.

My intent is to put this back as close to original as I can manage.
I also do not know what the shock collars are. They're coming off and into the parts box for now.

Well, I've determined through the use of slotcarrods very fine 25 year history thread that what I have here is an early Cadillac. I've worked on this car for a few minutes each night. I borrowed some parts from another car or two but here is my progress.
I replaced the incorrect ball ends and turnbuckles with ball studs, ball cups and threaded rod. I added a nose tube. I found that the front shocks were held on with servo arm connectors (not sure what they're called) so I replaced them with lock nuts and washers. I replaced the wheels with a set from another buggy. They're not perfect but they're the best i have at the moment. I added an antenna mount, battery cups and a set of Sanyos. I replaced the back shock collars with the correct units. I've added the gears and a gear cover, not sure if the fogged one is correct for this car. I added a wing wire and the original wing buttons that were still NIP after all these years. I still have a ways to go. I still need to repair the solder joint on the front sway bar. I have the original MSC that I'll be installing with period correct electronics. Of course it will get a Protec body and wing in box art colors. I'll paint the driver and install him too. Eventually I'll strip this guy down and replace any hardware that is substandard. What have I missed? I'd like it to be as correct as possible.

Thanks, I'll check if I have any. I have everything packed up so it's a bit hard to find anything at the moment.
