Any good ideas for battery straps for an Ultima? What do you use?

Thanks!

I bought a few sets on ebay a while ago - I've seen them listed at least one more time since then. Not sure if they were truly original or not, if not they were very similar to the originals. Not expensive at all. Also some Dell rack mount servers come with similar cable ties, I've seen them at work but haven't found the stash at our data center.

Yes, thick rubber bands are what I'm using now, but I wanted something more glamorous :D.

Turbo Ultima, so it has the chassis like the original.

trimmed velcro straps could always work as well

I'd like to update this old topic. I need some of these removable battery straps. I figure they must sell something like these on eBay, similar to the straps used on vintage RC cars. I tried the Velcro ones but they don't do a good job keeping things secure. The typical Velco ties are also too wide and need to be cut down significantly in order to fit through the grooves in a Marui Galaxy chassis, for example.

So, what have you got for reuseable battery ties?

they offer three different types at mcmaster-carr, a top tab, side tab, and flip tab, all various lengths and widths. I'm sure any of the industrial type online stores will have something similar.
