Re: Masami WCS 93 replica (more WCS special parts!!)
Last package (that I know of) of missing parts to complete this replica Again, Aaron and Al to the rescue
track down remaining missing decals-
have some 'Masami Hirosaka' decals made for the brace and wing-
obtain 4mm x 7mm WCS diff bearing-
install the florescent red wheel dots-
trim tires as Masami did-
figure out what battery bars were used on this car-
figure out an obtain the proper KO servo and (AM?) reciever-
glass bead the center hardened oneway-
obtain and modify the Kose heatsink for the HPC-
modify rear motor mount (lighten)-
modify rear bulkhead (dremel lighten for dirt escape)-
receive replica painted body and undertray and trim and detail-
locate black kydex front bumper-
Damn, that's more left than I thought
. Hopefully I will have a better pace with this replica through out November- things I have left to dotrack down remaining missing decals-

Wow, you do have a bit of work to do. You know Reg, ignorance is bliss, you could be done already if you just didn't pay that much attention to detail

Neat job!.... it really is quite a tedious task, cutting those discs out & applying them the the wheels.
Good score on the correct Yatabe decals!! - they must be rare as rare!! The ones on my car are from the current sheet that you buy in the Arena on-site shop, they are slightly different with the little on-road car rather than the buggy as yours will have, also I don't have quite the right size P.S; I think the 'Novak' on the wing was Purple, but the one on the shell is Pink?

Your right about the shell one being pink, I have a darker scan somewhere where it looked purple. The only difference in the Yatabe decals I have and you have that I can see is mine have a buggy and yours have a sedan?DerbyDan wrote:Neat job!.... it really is quite a tedious task, cutting those discs out & applying them the the wheels.

Yes the image, I think on the first page of this thread seems to show the Novak decal on the shell being similar in colour to the one on the wing... it was only the above close-up image that comfirmed that it was more likely to have been pink. Yes my Yatabe decals are identical bar the little 'sedan' but the size of them are not quite the same - I have two on my car that are a touch too large... & one on the roof which is a bit too smallCharlie don't surf wrote:Your right about the shell one being pink, I have a darker scan somewhere where it looked purple. P.S; might be in luck with some more decals for us both.... i'll be in touch if they materialise

That is an Awesome build.. Im working on a Worlds '95 Winning Pavidas car. Got pics from Mark the other night to go along with my Worlds '95 Kinwald T.Q. car.
I will send you pics of the BK car...it still has all his custom machining work done to the hubs, Towers. etc. Brian is going to paint a "Era" correct body and wing for me to put on it.
