G'day guys
We had a vintage meet the other wekend, in the rain, again. I raced my rc10 SS in 2WD stock. Had a ball.
I think I got hit by everysingle other driver on the last run so the body has had it. But with all the reinforcements that I had made it took quite a beating!
I have a new SS bodyset ready for paint. Will post pics when it's done.
Thanks to Murray & Darryn for the pics.
regards
jak

That SS RC10 really looks great - particularly with those rims. Have you posted a build thread on here for that car? If so, I'd definitely be interested in reading it!
Also, where did you get that front bumper from?

I made the front bumper from a peice of alloy 6mm rod. It was really difficult as it has 6 bends in one length. There is also an alloy roll cage inside as well that the body is supported on so as to take hits on the track. I also have another alloy plate under the front body post for more support.
The wheels were made by Bugle, he's on this forum too. He also gave me tips on gearing & suspension.
I just run a sports tuned with a Tamiya esc & 5000 saddle pack lipo. It's very quick for me.

Great job! Those photos are awesome. It's too bad Bugle isn't making those wheels any longer...

Just finished a new body for the next vintage meet . Doesn't look to bad, although I'm running out of colour scheme ideas!
Working headlights should bedazzle the other drivers LOL!
