I picked this little gem off of eBay a few months ago. If I remember, I ended up with it for $60.00. Not to shabby a deal considering what all in on the truck. A bunch of RPM parts, early RCPS titanium turnbuckles, early MIP cvd's, MIP bell cranks and Losi Hydradrive among other things, and it's a Team Truck. The funky front tires are off the truck now and they are going to Reg's for his dad to use in oval, I think.

I have big plans for this truck. An all orange and black theme! I have a florescent orange chassis and nose plate from treehugger that I'm going to use. In my deleted post, I had asked you members if I should dye the Pure-tech battery strap black?

No Jake the Moo body is going on another runner that I'm going to work on after this one is done.

I had posted this with comments on Saturday, but with the server problems it was lost. So I will edit the first post and add comments now.

I gathered some parts and the chassis from treehugger.

I started dying some parts black. The RPM trans cases, wheels, shock towers and MIP bellcranks. I asked if I should dye the Pure-tech battery strap as they are not common. Too late, it's now black!

I wanted to use Losi Step Pins on the rear but I just could not get them to sit right on the bead lock wheels. So I switched to a Proline M3 Bowtie! On the front I used Proline The Edge tires.

 I'll be there tomorrow and I'll get them to call you to the desk for me

I like the orange and black, but to quote you on someone else's orange and black scheme, those look like gay TM colors :P :P :P :P

I really like the orange RMP letters on the black, good job!

Ok, I'm not in the store that day! :P JK

As far as KTM goes. I never said I did not like how the over priced, unreliable pieces of crap look! Orange and black have been around longer than KTM! In fact, I think my 10T is older than current KTM! I know they went bankrupt in the very early 90's!

I'm going to put these in it! Not a big Novak fan these current days as I think Tekin and LRP are better now. However, I must use Novak in keeping with the orange theme! I had to buy a bulk pack of Trinity antenna tubes just to get ONE orange tube! :?

I got this Savox 1268 digital servo to try out from Racers Edge/HRP. I sure wish they gave me the cheaper orange type Savöx SC-1257TG. Anyway.. In keeping with the orange theme, I ordered one! http://www.savoxservos.nl/?p=52 These Savox servos are very nice and are very well priced.

I mounted the Savox 1268-MG on RPM servo mounts. I cut off the ears of the mounts so the mount could sit beside the battery strap, and drilled new holes under the mounts to move the servo back against the chassis. I will paint the RPM logos on the mounts later!
