is there any problem if I hook up a KO fet servo directly to a Novak M5 esc ??........... :?

I think those fet boosted servos needed an inductor added inline with the blue wire to act as a filter. 1uH sounds familiar, but don't quote me on it. A general google search around should find what you need.....

quick check, it is a 10uH inductor that you need. You can pick it up at an electronics supplier usually super cheap compared to buying it from novak or KO propo.

many thanks for the inputs..........:)

but the main thing is........I am an idiot in electronics....... :( ..........would anyone tell me how to connect all those inductors to the esc & servo ??........

I remember in the old days........I used to get the Novak #5630 filter kit in my M5 esc........later sold them all out.......:( ........I think the filter kit consists of 2 diode-like stuffs (they connect to each other at one side)..........then one tail to the esc fet servo output wire........another one to the fet servo.........the third one to the "+" of battery........correct me if I am wrong........

The inductor/choke that KO used to include had to be soldered inline with the blue lead off the servo.
