Hello I have a couple ?'s about a RC10t team truck model #7035
1 does this kit come with both wide and narrow front tires ?
2 does it come with 3 piece wheels ?
3 does it have the narrow body ?
have a chance to buy a nib in box kit at a fair price and am 100% I'm going to get but just wanted to know what to expect when I open box
thanks for the help new to this site been racing R/C cars for 25 plus years and now to start getting some of the car/trucks I have had. had a rc10t truck back in 1991 but was the first version so this one is close and its new in box.
thanks again
Tony

That would be the Team Truck, so it would have one-piece wheels and the narrower body, but wouldn't have the narrow front tires (they were banned from racing almost before the original truck came out). It would also have come with universal driveshafts, upgraded shock towers, and upgraded suspension arms.

1) The universal axles are 1/4".
2) Any RC10T bodies will bolt right on.
3) The front wheels are the same on all 4 versions of the 10T, as well as the GT.
Post pics when you get it

Did they change the box art for the Team Truck, or just the part number on the side? Is it the red, white and blue truck jumping out of the stadium peristyles?

Bully posted this in the thread I had for pictures of the 7035. It says on the right side that it's a Team Truck. I don't know. I'm still learning about all of the differences. I'm sure Tony will know in a couple of days.

The included photo is from the July '93 RC Car Action. That's the official Team Truck livery; the RC10T had a red, white, and blue design. I don't think RC Car Action ever did a review of the Team Truck version, but I remember reading one in a smaller magazine and I believe it had the CF tranny brace.
Photos in the instruction manuals don't always match what comes in the box; the rear and wide front tires in the original RC10T manual and box art weren't the ones included with the kit. The older Associated boxes were just plain cardboard with the pictures and information pasted on. When a kit had multiple versions they would just change the information on the side panel, or add a sticker to the front.

You guys rock with all the info by far my favorite site for vintage R/C .
my nib truck should be Monday but hammering out another deal on used one for a runner and have a couple wheel ?'s back in the day when I had my first R/C10t I had HPI five star ss wheels on it my ? is do they come with both adapters for 1/4 and 3/16 axles ?
And was surfing ebay and seen losi made a set of front wheels that where white with lexan disc's and the package said for R/C10t did they make rear's the same way with the disc ? and for which axle ?
my plan is to do a runner with a milled down chassis power coated white black suspension arms etc and black wheels. looking at so of the pc chassis they look great
thanks again dude's for all the help

The HPI wheels came with a full set of adapters, which you can get here:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=000106227&I=LXN057&P=K
Top left is the 3/16" adapter, bottom left is the 1/4" adapter. The other two are for regular 12mm hex wheels and then Tamiya Blackfoot-style wheels. You can use the adapters in any wheel with a 12mm hex if you trim the lip off the outer edge.
The front wheels came with these:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=000106227&I=LXN055&P=K
The wheels fit 11mm OD bearings standard, so one set of those adapters are to let 3/8" bearings to fit inside.
The front wheels on the Losi LXT and RC10T were the same, but Losi made some rear wheels to fit the 1/4" RC10T axle. The rear wheels for Losi trucks will fit Associated trucks with 3/16" axles.
