TC's RC10 Project X (now with build list)

So in the begining, I found this site looking for information on a car I had received from my cousin. That car was a Yokomo 870c that I completely bastardized by getting aluminum one off parts created by my good friends Frank and Chris at New Era Models. thanks to this site, I have an awesome classic.
Now it is time for something new.
I put an ad in my companies electronic want ads page looking for an original RC10 Gold Pan car. The ad was answered by an employee at a different facility from me. An original gold pan set up for oval racing with tons of spare parts, radio, esc, servos and motor. I pick it up Saturday morning.
In preperation of receiving this car, I have asked Vintage AE for his permission to do something similar to what he did in this thread: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9310
He said it was OK, and gave me his complete build list.
Depending on the overall close up in person condition of this car, I may just do it.
I also have created a Project X build binder including the original manual (second version) as well as the Stealth transmission manual (if it doesnt have one, I'll be looking for one).
I'll post pictures as I get things done in this thread. I'm pretty excited to do this build, but If I learned anything with the Yoke build, it was to take things slow, and do it right. I'm going to take this one slow.
I want to thank everyone here ahead of time. I know I am going to be asking a lot of noob questions during this time, so I will also say sorry ahead of time. I find this to be a very calming hobby for me, and I want to thank this site.....
Thank you,
Ron
