Just here in the I.E. I was going to go to west coast once, but never made it
Were you the one who was selling the xx4 on craigslist a while back that had this body on it?

nah...I dont do the craigslist thing.

WC is nice, but for just a fun day of running (with no pressure), check out LRH, as far as I know, they dont race at all, just practice/bash. Small shop, so bring parts with ya...me an my son have gone there a few times and just ran the wheels off our stuff. Indoor clay track too..

LRH looks to be about 20 mins from my parents house. I might check it out one of these weekends. Is it a decent sized track? Do they allow Nitro too?

And are you the "guy to know" about Heavy metal bodies

LRH is small, I have seen nitro cars there, I think they are kind of open to them...

I do have a NIP body, full decal set and new out of pack body mount set (assembled). I've been struggling with what to do with it, knowing how rare it is, let alone NIP. I feel a bit guilty, it is the fourth one I have owned, and my last. I still have a ton of XX4 stuff too, been thinking of building up the XX4WE and selling them as a pair.

For the right deal, I would be willing to let it go...

there are some cool paintjobs there, good stuff :) I like the first two the best actually!

The thing that strikes me though is you actually RACED the griffin as an official back then? How competitive was it?

With quite a few beef up durability mods, it wasnt that bad. I placed in the A many times. Academy USA wasnt supporting the car, I ordered directly from Korea and parts too...then my contact quit shipping to me and parts dried up, you can imagine what happened next.
