Since I am on here posting I thought I would put some pics of the car up since it is almost back together. I am waiting on my black nylon bulk heads to get her but since this thing broke the front bulkhead the first week of racing it it was converted to an RPM front back in 1991 I believe. The rear bulkhead was also opened up to let the junk fall out...I got that fix from a team driver the first week I had the car at the Reedy race in sacramento. and the front bumper is a modified RC10 bumper I cut and redrilled back in the day. Like I said this thing is not done yet and is still a work in progress I have swapped to the ZX5 axles but I dont think I like it. The body was painted in 1991 also and I am looking to get somthing different.
Maybe I'll add some naked pics later but for now what do you think?

Ok some naked pics. In these photos you can see my incomplete slipper setup...Still waiting on the rest of the parts (Slipper pads, spring, bushings and nut, and my home made delrin lipo holders...still need to modify the rear holder near the spur gear. I cut them out of a sheet of virgin white delrin and the posts are B44 posts. with the added saddles it puts the posts at the right height for the hard case Lipo batteries. I still have a few more pieces to fabricate, when my sheet of carbon fiber arrives.

Thanks I spent about three hours cutting them out and getting the posts set so I didnt have to drill any extra holes in the chassis.
The wheels are Kyosho. Fronts are W5026W narrow wheels and the rears are W5202W They are ZX5 wheels and the tires are the ones fron JC racing figured for $11.00 I would try a set out.

The slipper is a combination of Associated, yokomo and tamiya parts. The shaft is the YZ-10 ZC-627H TCS shaft. the center one way is from the MR-4 BX, BX-671H and the inner and outer slipper plates are Rc10 B2 with a 15 tooth tamiya TA04 plastic gear machined out and pressed on to the inner plate. Had to freeze the plate and heat the gear to get them together but once it is on and everything gets back to room temp it is on there pretty solid Probably should have put some red loctite on when I pressed them together. I will see if it holds up when it get it running.

The slipper plates in the picture are for a RC10B3/T3 not B2. B2 was the same as the original 2.25 Stealth, but they would fit the same anyway.
Very nice build Justjoe!
