I have some vintage 3 spoke wheels winging their way across to the UK for me (thanks sharkman), I want to dye them black and put in some shiney stainless screws.

Can anyone tell me what sizes they are so that I can get some screws ready? Preferable in millimetres?

Or, what are they the same size as, do they match any other screws on the chassis?

the screw is a 4-40 size non metric. as for the length, that depends on whether its a front or rear.

4-40 x 3/8" front

4-40 x 5/8" rear
