Ok lets start out with please be nice  I dont want to waste a lot of time if this wont work? I know Losi inside and out but havent had a RC10 in about 25 years. I had a new RC10 back in 1988, and sold it and have had Losi's ever since. and now I have a nice 6gear CE I got from Gary. I have short arms for it. I want to build a short arm like the original one I had with the jellybean wheels I won in the BST section. can I just change the long arms and put shorter shocks on it or are they different cars? I dont know if the rear is different on the CE? thanks for any help.

here are before and after. (what I have and what I want ) in the end

Same basic car throughout the gold chassis run. The biggest differences between the original '84 RC10 and the CE are the longer front suspension arms, which came along with slightly longer front shocks and a new shock tower. All the manuals are up on www.rc10.com, so you can download them all and compare.

Bearrickster, you just need to change put the short arms in and nothing else. The shocks are the same. However, you need the pins secured by set screws for the short arms to mount the shock eyelets on. Hope these help.

thanks I have a Protech for it I wanted something to go with the 3pc Losi wheels I have. its sad to build a car around a set of wheels, but their so cool.

I cant wait till the fronts get here. I dyed the back halfs black I think it makes it look cleaner.

I won a set of fronts in the BST section but their not here yet, I got these off Ebay a few days later for 20 bucks. a guy had a set of three rears listed also but was out of my price range. I guess mine sliped off everyones radar. the backs are the ones you sent me gary I just redye the red black they look great thanks

made a little progress on this one. converted it to short arm, I just need to find new white bellcranks for it, and new turnbuckles. I replaced the screws in the rear wheels with some SS ones. I cant wait till my front wheels from Slotcarrod come in and topped it off with a protech. I still need a wing also.

thanks this is the white car I got from you. I used the left over chassis from the black car since it had that chunk out of the side. and soaked the all of the white parts I had and used the best ones they cleaned up great. I only need a few little parts and it will be complete.

Glad you are happy with it! I have too many and it was time to share the wealth. We'll make an Associated guy out of you yet! Incidentally, i was perusing craigslist for other cities a couple of nights ago and I ended up grabbing a couple of rc10's from California for an even $100. not too sure what they're going to look like but one is a graphite chassis of some kind and the other is a gold pan. Lots of nice hop ups. working on getting anoth lot today - Can't say what it is yet but it might prove to be a great score indeed!
