A&L Lethal Weapon tranny ratio

Ok, I did a search for this but could not find the answer to what the final drive ratio is for the A&L Lethal Weapon. So after some disassembly, I figured out it's 2.22:1. The diff has 40 teeth and the top shaft has 18. I guess this explains why you need large spur gears to get decent mesh with your pinions.

Thanks. The middle one is a different sheet than the one that came with my tranny. Hmm...

Hey Daryl! R/c-ing is going well. As you know, it's been freakin' hot the last few days in So Cal. The transmission I got from you a while back is mounted on my Ultima. I'm waiting for Pure Tech to start making the old school straps again so I can drive it. Hope things are well with you.

Ratio is not different the Instruction sheet is different, sorry if I was not clear. Richie had mentioned the posted instructions did not look like the ones he received with his LW2. All our LW's use the same gears (pulley's) and all have a 2.22 ratio, hope this helps.
