Got this truck @ a yard sale for $10. it had the stock body still & that needed to go! So I found a nitro hawk on ebay with a VW BAJA body that Ive never seen before & bought it just for the body. I put ball bearings all the way through it. Also put RPM front & rear arms, front bumper, & gear cover (not pictured) on it.
going to get the rpm wheely bar mount, castor blocks, front & rear carriers, maby the front & rear shock towers (if I can get them in blue.) Put a set of stampede tires on the rear for now. Will change the tires later when i find some I like. Also added some alum traxxas shocks.
Made an alum rear body mount to work with the bug body & a alum ESC plate.
has airtronics radio & reciever/ servo, novak duster 2 esc, matrix pro series motor...
(if anyone has any info on the motor please let me know. I cant find any.)

pic the day I bought it.

here it is with the new body. (have since lowered the rear mount)

That's an old Proline body that was made to fit the original tub-chassied RC10.

Hopefully Mr. Lexan will make a repro someday.

I had one years ago, I still have most of it..well, part of it anyway...: :D

Nice score, every RC car I find at yard sales are the cheap walmart specials. The newer body looks great on it by the way.
