ya, my wife asks the same thing, but she's pretty good about it. as long as finances allow.

Yea, mine is too. But with the way prices are soaring on parts, I have become much more selective. And if certain bidders wind up in an auction, forget it. I mean, I want it, but life goes on if I don't win it. Really glad I never had any interest in tamiya stuff, some of those prices are breathtaking!

Yeah, what is it with prices lately. AE stuff used to be so cheap. I think the price surge is temporary until AE gets up to full speed due to their move. Though the rare vintage stuff on ebay is just getting rediculous.

I wasn't going to ask as it's probably going to be a dumb question but curiosity is killing me, what are the last two cars about , I don't think we had this sort of racing in the UK at least I can't remember ever seeing bodies of that type.

they're for dirt oval racing. edm bodies. (eastern dirt modified)

Thanks Scr8p, I'm still a little unclear, how big were the ovals, indoor or outdoor, they have different types of tyres on, were foams used on dirt and why was the body designed in that style wouldn't a normal buggy body have worked sorry for asking but it does interest me.

foams are used on hard packed clay tracks, as is the rubber street track tires (proline, custom works). there are some tracks that are more of a loose dirt, and they use pin type buggy tires.

there is indoor and outdoor dirt ovals. they range in alot of different size. most of the newer tracks are pretty big due to the nitro cars (200 ft. driveline or more). most of the tracks i raced at though the years were short tracks, which i personally like better.

also, you could use a buggy body, but that wouldn't be mimicing the style of racing. plus, youd be at quite an aerodynamic disadvantage.

very nice. Love how ya make the servo wires wound tightly.. How do you do that. Wrap around a small tube and pull out the tube?
