Any suggestions on a good screw (or other hardware) anchored battery strap (no velcro or sticky tape)? for a TQ10 chassis - 6 cell battery.

Why not an RC10 Battery cup? They still sell them on tower and they come with the straps.

I have a cup already and am currently using zip ties instead - I like cranking the battery down to the chassis with the ties but I go through a lot of ties and am looking for something more permanent - being 20 years later I figure there must be a decent upgrade - plus the batteries I bought NiMH appear to be slightly too large for the original cup placement anyway and if I upgrade batteries at some point I figure they will be smaller than the 6-cell batteries?

An RC10 worlds battery strap will hold the cells better, and you can re drill the battery cup location forward slightly, or cut the front of the battery cup out to make room for the larger cells-

Is any one selling the worlds or similar battery straps?

Atlas here was doing a re-production in carbon fiber. The Originals can be hard to find

Anything like a zip tie (flexible) but anchored via screws/hardware out there?
I guess I could just take the velcro type strap and drill em and screw them down instead of sticking them to the chassis.
I cut the cup I have now...and was using that for a while.

I made the battery strap in this thread to hold various packs.

2 screws, 2 nuts, 2 thumbnuts, a peice of fiberglass, 2 lengths of nylon tube, 2 nylon stand offs, and 2 screws to hold em in place.

I like that adjustable hold down, thanks for the link.
I asked Atlas about his battery straps last week. No more available for sale right now.
I currently roll with these pure-tech straps...they are good but I'd like to try out the Associated cups with either a worlds style or the jwscab style hold down.

It's best to call pure tech and tell them what you need so you can get the correct strap for your application. Also, the last I heard, they didn't have any more of the RC10 battery straps but they have other styles that may work.

Why not use the B4 battery strap with the original battery cups?

All good suggestions - I especially like jwscab's homebrew holder - flip it around and it should hold a smaller battery too.
I think I am going to take a stab at a homebrew too - just not sure the exact design yet.
