Haven't run it yet,

nice job indeed. Would be cool to run in a vintage tamiya class

I love these kinds of builds. I would still run a bumper though. :)

Very clean and nice, but made me realize how much I stink at soldering Dean's connectors, that is perfect.

Thanks for the compliments :D

I find Deans connectors alot easier to solder when held with a clamp or vise.

Nice clean Hornet. The 3 GH/Hornet chassis we have as runners are still very enjoyable to run... especially all at once, like an angry swarm.

BTW I use one of these to solder my deans: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3928375
I use them for almost all my soldering jobs.

Thanks :D

I finally ran it today, brings back memories,
a 3600 battery lasts a long time

We have one of those clamp units @ work, I just use a small vise, but I think your setup would be better.

What do the super Hornet arms do? Do they widen the front track any? It looks like the increase the wheelbase slightly as well? Thanks.

They widen the front track, and have a lower shock mount, those shocks would not fit with stock arms.

Wheelbase stays the same.
