i gotta agree with panhead, i'm new around here too and have found this site to be very helpful and full of great people.
i even reconnected with a guy i used to race with back in the day here.

When I was looking to restore my 25-year-old Turbo Optima, I was searching around for a good forum to join. I know from past experience that it's sometimes not easy to find a forum that has daily frequent activity, as I hate posting something and then having no response for days. I joined 2 forums, and needless to say, the OTHER one is like a ghost town. (I think I saw more tumbleweeds rolling by than forum posts.)

I've enjoyed the knowledge & experience of the general membership here, especially since technology has come a long way and terminology has completely changed since the mid-80's.

So, I just want to say Thanks too!
