I want to use nylon insert nuts on my 10T (1/4" rear and stock front axles). What size do I need?

8-32 for the rear and 5-40 for aluminum front axles, 4-40 if the fronts are the older steel ones...

Thanks, I will check to see which front axles I have.

Use these for the aluminum front axles:

They are the same ones for the shocks, and steering bellcranks, but the axles and bellcrank posts are 5-40 so don't mix them up with the shock nuts. You'll be able to tell right away as the nuts will feel very loose on the 4-40 screws.

Nuts for the steel front axles:

Rear axles:

There are a bunch of steel and aluminum nuts available. I like the low-profile aluminum ones, it looks like they only sell those in blue now. Avoid using the black 8-32 nylon nuts for the rear wheels, as I've found they strip very easily.

you know what the difference is between wheel nuts and deer nuts? wheel nuts are $2.00 a pack, deer nuts are under a buck.

All the good ones had the 'facepalm' tagline at the bottom, I really didn't want to go that route. There was a good one with Piccard and Riker, but it was on a blog site and those don't show up right.
