How many versions of the RC10T were there?

hello All,

I recently went to a hobby shop that had a NIB RC10T. The box was open, so I was able to see all of the parts. Let me tell ya, there's nothing like seeing a NIB example and going through the parts.

I guess I left the hobby (temporarily) before the different versions of the 10T came out. I was surprised to see that this 10T had black parts (arms) and one piece wheels. The arms were the flat version that came with the T2 and not the webbed versions. Everything was still NIP, so I knew it wasn't swapped out.

So the question is, what version is this? In all of the excitment, I didn't take note of the kit number

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Roger

More than likely is was one of the last runs of the 7035 team truck. AE changed to all black parts on their last of the 10's and 10T's as the B2 and T2 were being phased in. I say team truck because you mentioned 1-piece wheels. Sport trucks would have still had 3-peice wheels, gold-bodied shocks and bushings instead of bearings.... 8)

as far as rc10t goes i think 8 ... here is how i thought of that answer.. you have the first white arm then the second white arm (different shock mounts up front, maybe even 3 white arms) then they took the white arms and made them black, then they made a new style black arm (like t2) ... now that was 4 and x2 cause each came as a sport or a team... someone please let me know if im correct...

The only differences I know minus going through each variation like sport/team/factory..there were the early trucks with the narrow front wheels that were banned, thin webbed a-arms and thin shock towers (in white) and then they came out with thicker webbed arms and thicker towers.

Yes, 4 different white arms-possibly even 5 white arms if you count the late white w/the shiny composite fibers in them

It appears to be, but that rear body mount looks like a Thunder Tiger part  Yours is the last version sold with the GT/T2 type arms and the revised rear bulkhead.

Reg, I think the first GT's used the same arms as the 3rd and 4th 10T. It was not until the T2 that the arms got revamped and placed on GT's and very late 10T's.
