So are there different shock towers that fit this buggy as i wanna hopup one for a runner? And what else works on these buggies as far as hopups.

the shock towers are just plastic versions of the jrx2, however, the mounting points move slightly because the towers are thicker. so if you have a new body it's not an issue, but if you have one trimmed out, you will have to move the body mounting holes somewhat.

titanium tie rods, full ball bearings, maybe a retrofit transmission and you are about as hopped up as you need.

you can add lots of aftermarket losi stuff, it's pretty much a toned down version of the jrxpro. suspension is pretty much the same except for the shock length and type (regular vs teflon coated).

transmission is identical, LRM, you can add a slipper of some type (regular or hydra).

otherwise, aftermarket arms wheels, etc etc etc.....

Cool thanks! I have a set of tecnacraft titanium hinge pins and turn buckles and i will use the composite craft shock towers also. So does the xx body fit on here then and what about modern wheels and tires?

I would switch over to the pro SE shock towers (f&r). As for the XX body, it will fit as long as you use the pro SE rear shock tower.

As for the wheels, you can use the XX rears. The stock fronts are 2.15...so they are pretty close to 2.2 You can use a hex type rear wheel by using the hpi wheel adapters.

Mike, here's something I was playing with a while ago - It's an XX body and Rulux rims on a Junior 2 chassis. This body wasn't cut for this chassis but you can see that it should fit. I "think" the Rulux wheels fit but I'll have to dig them out again to see for sure.

That looks sweet Gary. I have a new composite craft front SE tower so i will need a stock SE rear tower if someone has one. Thanks for all the quick replys.

I like those! Are they Rulux B4 or B44? I see both on Ebay. I am in the process of building a racer Jrx2 and was planning on B4 wheels but these look great.

b4 and b44 have the same rear wheels.
the fronts differ of course.

jconcepts makes a pack of 4 b4 fronts and a pack of 4 b4/b44 rears.
