Ok, noticed Gary here and on DODC. I'm working on a deal for a few cars with a buddy. I think the server on DODC was changed cause all the old pics are gone. Does anyone here have good pictures of these cars? Whether it be Sprint, EDM or late model? I'm heading back to Iraq on the 21st, currently home on R&R. Hopefully the cars will be shipped before I leave but doubt it. I'll try to get pics as soon as possible!

I think I have a few somewhere. Mine were probably the ones you were looking for on DirtOval.com. I built a website once for Gary and he stiffed me for the whole job—just vanished from plain sight never to be heard from again. Then he sent me an e-mail a few years later like nothing had happened.

His cars were pretty, but as for putting them on a track against other race cars, they were heavy, fragile and bulky. They wouldn't stand a chance in a racing environment. Nice looking, but essentially R/C shelf models.

Well I remember at least two other guys that tweaked and built their own tube chassis. So the cars I'll be picking up will have different chassis. I'm hoping to shelf them. However there is two complete sprint cars and nearly enough to build a third car. So might actually build one to turn some laps. Still would like to see some pictures.

I'll see what I can find. I am pretty sure I still have the original photos that I can scan, too.

I managed to find a few of one of his late models that I took a long time ago. Nice car, not sure why he was building it other than looks. It didn't fit into any real class of racing. IIRC, it used Tamiya plastic solid axles.

i'm almost positive i have a couple pics of his edms saved on my other computer. unfortunately, it's not working at the moment.

Yeah, that LM is sweet. I'll really use this site when it comes time to track down some realistic wheels.

I'm on DODC. That first link is just not quality pictures. I had figured someone would have one of these cars so they can take pictures using today's modern technology aka digitial camera! I'm about to send the money out tomorrow, return to Iraq on Tuesday. I'll get pictures on this site and DODC someday if no one has these cars!

I just got pics in from the lot I just purchased from a dear old friend...after I put the kids to bed, I'll get the pics up. But I got a lot more than just cars!!!

Here are the pictures as promised. Thank God for friends. Due to the size of this lot, I'm going to pick it up when I return from Iraq. My friends are going to hang onto it since I'll be moving back up there in March. I'm not wanting to say how much but lets just say I got everything for what I expected to pay for just one roller.





This car is in the family as well. They are going to hang on to it for me. My wife isn't happy about this transaction so I'm gonna let some time pass before I hand them the money for this to join my new KRP collection.

Can anyone identify the bodies on the sprint cars? It's a 1/8th scale car so just wondering where to get them. I'll check Ebay.

So they are all 8th scale electric? Odd but cool.

IIRC, Gary made the molds for those bodies (or at least the noses). I think those are custom pieces, but you might be able to get the McAllister bodies to fit on there properly.
