Vintage AE & I Got 870c Runners!
Just got this in the mail yesterday from a guy on RCtech. I paid $100 + $15 shipping. I think I got a good deal.... Right?
I already have a much nicer 870c and new YZ10, that I will make into queens one day , but I always want to have a runner of each car and a queen! I ran a stock 870c back in the day and have very fond memories I want to re-live!

That looks like a screamin' deal. Lots of good parts there to keep a runner going.

Re: Got A 870c Runner!
O.k... I'm not very in touch with what all I have (not very Yokomo savvy)!
Whats the top deck on the built up car?
Whats the aluminium arms and the c hubs with bearings?
Brands, that is?

More than likely they are Dialed Racing parts. They had all sorts of aftermarket aluminum parts for that series of cars- imported from Japan. -Jeff

Re: Got A 870c Runner!
Thanks for the help, info and offers guys! I look forward to building this one. I will even try to build 2 will all the extra parts, as I do have another partial one in the garage. I'm sure I can build two nice ones with these plus the one in the garage!
The only problem is time! And other projects that I desperately need to finish! Both my RC10T's, RC4WD Defender/Galande and much much more! Winter is coming and my sons MX season is also coming to an end! I know this sounds strange but, I'm looking forward to a long cold winter just to get some of these projects done!

Re: Got A 870c Runner!
One question. Is there any way to build the stock Yokomo shocks so they work well? Or just forget them and put AE team shocks on?
O.k. that's 2 questions!

Re: Vintage AE & I Got 870c Runners!
Vintage AE just picked up these yesterday from my house and will be building 2, or I hope 3 runners with all the parts.
For his time and effort, he gets to keep the second best one!
