Bleaching old plastic parts back to white?

Hi guys. New around here.
I'm going to start restoring a couple of rc10's soon. One has the C stamp on the back but has white plastics (which doesn't match the C stamped car in the "25 years of rc10" thread...so i'm not sure what edition it is), and the other has no stamp and a pink coated chassis...a bit beat up unfortunately.
I'm trying to gather information on the things i need/can/want to do to it. One of these things is restoring the plastics to their original white, or as close as possible. They have that faded yellowish looking tint to them which i would like to remove.
Water and soap won't cut it.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!
