My new to me 1:1 bronco

I have been experiencing a string of bad luck with my vehicles. My BMW lost a piece of plastic on one of the Cam chain guides and it's an expensive fix. On my '85 F150 the fuels pumps won't power up. Had a mechanic spend all day Saturday on the truck chasing down electrical gremlins to no avail. So yesterday I downed a bottle of extra strength Fukitol and bought this sweet 1995 Eddie Bauer edition Bronco
I'm real happy with my buy. It's a truck I always wanted and this one is in very nice condition. It will serve well to pull my motorcycle trailer and get me back and forth to work until I figure out what to do with the BMW

Love your truck. It looks real clean. Those Broncos are tough. I suggest you try some light off-roading if you have the opportunity. I had an 1988 Bronco. One of my favorites.
Got to like the rear window.

"Wanna go fer a ride in my bran' new Bronco? It's red!"
Sorry, just remembering the scene in Uncle Buck with the greaseball at the bowling alley.

You need to follow up with a bottle of Damital.
Seriously, that's a nice rig, i have been looking at them for quite a while - the market seems pretty depressed and it seems like you can get a nice one for not too much outlay.
What model of BMW do you have? You could check on a few of the forums like bimmerfest or bimmerforums to see if anyone has done a diy project on that issue. Be prepared to wade through a lot of poo though. Those forums are overbalanced with a preponderance of subjects like, "How do you like my new bumper?" or "What rims should I buy?"

I'm on those forums and you're right it's a bunch of BMW fanboys with little mechanical knowledge and the knowledgeable oldtimers rarely post as thier burned out answering the same set of questions
My bmw is a '99 540i with the 4.4 L v8. The part I need is only about $129 but it takes $3K in labor to install it. Plus my motor has 233K miles so it's not worth spending that type of dough on it. I'm going to be on the lookout for a low mileage long block.

Good plan. They're great cars but can be a real PITA to work on.
