Installation guide & tips: Optima belt conversion

Hi guys, I need some of your expertise. I received a belt setup for my Project CYANide Optima. It looks like I have the 2 diffs with belt sprockets, a couple belts and the rear gearbox halves, and a little plastic roller gear. I have no instructions on how to install the belt drive. I could probably figure it out, but an installation guide or pictures of someone's setup would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, ROH73...I knew I'd seen that guide somewhere on here before--imagine my surprise to learn it was in response to my own topic!

Someone just bought a used conversion off of eBay for 132.99. I had it on my watch list. They're really pricey! Though that seems to be the price they go for new...

Can't you just use standard Optima Mid gears and belt?

The response here on this Optima blogs talks about it:

You are leaving out the pulley.

Yeah, but if you intend to use the stock upper tray, belt guides, etc. the belt will rub excessively. Now if you were using a aftermarket chassis for saddle pack batteries and no guides or upper plate for example, then just a little trimming on the rear gearbox, and you are ready to go. -Jeff
