Current Reedy Motor offering - what gives ???

Not trying to be a "Negative Nelly" but how is it that Reedy Modifieds has pretty much gone up in smoke? I understand that LRP is in the picture for AE, but I find it pretty sad that a (brand) name that has been so closely associated with -> Team Associated is now relegated to just offereing a few Brushed Motors and Basic Brushless systems.
I still try and collect some old Reedy gear here and there as it used to be one of my most favorite R/C memories. Just kinda wish the Reedy name was given a bit more respect. Then again all the newer guys are probably not to "hip" on older manufacturers etc.
Oh well, one can wish

I have Reedy Brushless in a couple of my "old is new" builds, as well as an LRP sensored brushless, and I like the Reedy better.....

In this world it’s all about completion... And if you aren’t competitive enough, then you are left in the dust. Only the strongest survive on the racetrack... And you can live on something you did 10 years ago...

Sorry, I do not understand what you mean or are trying to say about 10 years ago?
I understand the nature of competition, and Reedy has fallen by the wayside since LRP came into the house of Associated (Thunder Tiger). All I am saying is that it is a shame that Reedy has been relegated to the side of the road thats all.

I agree, it’s a shame, no argue there! One cold wonder how is calling the shots at Thunder Tiger?

Reedy is now by Rick Howart at AE.
I wish they would make some of the LRP X-12's with a different wind, colour or something, and have a Reedy logo on it!

I agree with you there, like make a special run of some limited motors that are not just rebadged but actual reworked motors.
Call it the Mr. or Gold Star series of Reedy Brushless
