I recently purchased this tranny http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEV49&P=7 but I have no idea what gears to put inside. Mainly what has me confused is on another post I came across it has completely diffrent internals from a stealth tranny. Any Ideas of what goes in there? :?

That post if for an MIP. You have an RPM which are two completely different animals. Switch out the gears outta your rc10t/rc10 stealth and your are good to go.

For this transmission, all you need is a complete stealth 2.25 diff, bearings, idler gear and slipper assembly. Oh and the mounting screws too.

So if I use the stealth tranny to build this one, then how does it go from 2.25 to a 2.61 tranny?? :?

there's less teeth on the rpm topshaft.

which by the way is a lot more aggressive on the idler gear...
also some cases are not molded equally and i have noticed that some of them will build more friction in the center and this can cause the idler teeth to strip or shatter

But I can still use the b4 top shaft with b4 slipper right?

not unless you mod the top shaft by pressing the gears off an older B4 stealth shaft ( not the chinese one ) and re-installing the RPM gear on the B4 top shaft.

Sorry to post something not completely related to the original topic.

I just picked up a B4.1 slipper assy to add to my B3 rebuild. I'm guessing it's a Chinese one. Problems ahead?

shouldn't be. your swapping the entire topshaft, not changing the gears on them.
