Not being mean at all, but Masami might have a serious language barrier. Do any of our multi-lingual members know if he is active in other forums? I have a minor in Spanish, but if I got an email in Spanish asking detailed questions I would be lost…Just a thought.

Yes, I spoke to Jay about the forum but he has been very busy so he might not have a lot of time to come on to the forum.
Jay has always been a very cool person and I am sure scr8p's car made him very happy.

well...... that one's kind of a sore subject. :(
Last year another member helped arrange through a vendor (who Masami is sponsored by) for Masami to personally autograph 2 bodies (one was a painted body I had and the other a body for scr8p). Information came back to me that he received the bodies and they were autographed and sent back in the mail. Unfortunately they never arrived and who knows where they ended up. It was dissapointing but it's over and the moral of the story is if you see Masami walking around in the USA better get his autograph right there, don't trust the international post. I even had Masami's direct email but never wrote him as I didn't want to seem ungrateful for what he had done. I'm sure he did his part and it's not his fault international mail and language barriers probably messed this up.

well, the car hasn't made it back to me yet. jay sent it yesterday. but, i put enough insurance on the package to cover me in case something would happen.

but to be honest, i really don't have much money invested in this car at all. more time than anything.............

That's just amazing! Very nice of him. Such a good timing too, it's been 25 years since he won that trophy.
