can anyone, with a free shock body laying around, measure the inside diameter of the shock body? i need to see if a set of pistons i have are ideal for the shock body. if you have an electronic caliper that would be great. any help would be appreciated. thanks

I am taking mine apart today, blew an O-ring in it. I will see if I can measure it. I lent out my caliper to a friend and not receive it back. will make a good reason to get it lol.

i appreciate it. if you have a ruler in 32nds or even 64ths that would be good.

i just assumed that you would have some sort of rc10 shock body laying around that you could measure, along with a caliper of your own, and you could simply measure one of those. i wasn't trying to be a smartie pants.

yeah, i could of. but i don't have a tc3 around. i didn't know that the shocks were the same in demensions. or i else i wouldn't of asked smartie pants.
also, i think, there was 2 type of shocks with those kits. the standard shock kits, and the factory shocks that were threaded and with the unob. gold shafts. just making sure. don't want to end up with some parts that weren't able to fit smartie pants.

all of the associated shocks are the same diameter, and use the same pistons.
the tc3 shocks are more or less .56 bodies. they just use a different o-ring setup. if you put .56 shafts in them, they're no different than a standard .56 buggy shock.
