does anyone have a manual for a yz10 that they could possibly scan the part number breakdown page from? Or something similar for the yz 10 that gives a breakdown of the part numbers? I was looking at a YR-4 yokomo touring car and it looks like a lot of the drive parts will swap, is this the case?

Not sure if I should buy this or another , much cheaper tourer on the same wall....

I know it's not a part number breakdown, but if you go to the Oople site there is a pdf manual for the car. and on the Yokomo page they have a manual for the YR-4 and a lot of the parts carry over.

I'm not sure but I think I might have one for the Works 91 would that be any good

I have one for the 870c, pretty much the same thing...... let me know if it will help.

I went over to oople and couldn't find the manuals section (again)
Tried Yokomos S site also and found them. But it looks like the car I saw was a home-made converion of an 870C or something similar.

It has the white plastic covers over the frot and rear diffs, and the the belt is guided over the battery in the rear so you can put a stick pack from left to right. Does this ring a bell to anyone?
I also saw the black wheels actually don't use hex drives: they have the recess for the pin molded in: like the old losi rear-wheels. They are definitely wider than 24 mm too and cqrry foamies. (Could 've been added later ofcourse.)

As for the belt tensioners, I know some of the YR4's had that setup, so maybe that was somones stab at a YR4 conversion. lastly, the white bulkhead covers, they were white on the early cars.

The problem you guys seem to be missing is Yokomo did not publish part #s in their manuals until the YR-4 came out.

I have manuals for the 870c and the Works cars.. none of which have specific part #s that would refer to anything on a package of parts at a hobby store.

I have talked to Yokomo direct in Japan, and they do not have a LIST of 870c parts.. that they could send me.

That I think is correct, my works 91 instruction manual has no part numbers but I think I have a separate A4 sheet that does, let me know if anyone needs it and I will try to hunt it out.

Well, the cheaper tourer was gone, (insert curse here) but I got the YR-4.
It's a real beauty, used: tires worn and some sponge dust in the diff but, spot- and scratchless otherwise. No wear on the outdrives, no play in the universals.
It looks like the seller put on all his spare parts before he sold it.
I wish I could find my camera to put up some pics.

It got a bunch of blue anodised parts and real sweet carbon chassis: lower and upper deck. So I totally binned the idea of turning it into a buggy: would be too much of a shame to put all that aside while I already have 4 buggies.

I actually found a YR-4 M2 and original YR-4 NIB in the same shop also.
I'll post them in the BST section to check if anyone's interested.

I had a look at my YZ10 manual earlier. It has a parts listing on the back page but it is all in Japanese. (even though the manual has english in it).

I can scan and post up if anyone is interested?

No need for me: I like my YR-4 so well Itotally binned the idea of converting it to the YZ-10
