I am thinking I want to buy new motor to run with my Novak GT 7 ESC a bit more before I drop the cash on a new BL system.
Is any manufacturer selling good brushed motors anymore?

I know Trinity / Epic still has some on their site - although a little pricey considerring brushless have take over the scene.

Orion has a line of what they call Budget Modified motors, in many different winds. I am not sure of their cost though.

Hope this helps out a bit,

Are you looking for Mod brushed, or stock?

one piece of advice, stay away from the venom motors.
i have had a couple and i swear that a silver can 540 has more power then the 19t venom.

It's a shame they are getting so sparse. There are a few choices on this site. Some other very cool stuff too.

I want a mod brushed motos something around a 12T trip.
I like something fast like I use to race but I am not sure on the battery life my 3300 cell will give me, I am planning on getting some LiPo pack so I like to test a mod motor with my old Novak GT 7 and a Lipo pack. If think if I go LiPo I will need a cut of something for the car, no?

A while ago I would have said yes for sure, but I've quit using them. As long as you stop running as soon as performance starts to noticeably decrease the pack should be fine. Play it very safe at first and keep track of time. After a while you'll know exactly when to stop. I don't want to discourage you and cause damage to any pack you may get though...just my humble opinion.
