Hi, this is my first post on RC10Talk. I'm from France, so apologies if my english is so-so.
l've been wandering around in the last weeks, looks like a very friendly community :D

I thought I might share a recent build, not really a vintage "old to new" build, as I had the chance to find a NIB RC10L2. I hope it's not out of topic.

Here are a few pictures, I tried to honour the beauty of the pan car :o :

Welcome to RC10talk, your post is exactly where it should be and the car looks very clean and nicely built. I especially like the paint job on the body very nice job.

Thank you, I appreciate your comments on the car and paint scheme. It is so fun to drive, and the Novak 13.5T is certainly fast enough for me !

Here's a second body I've prepared for the same chassis, during Christmas holidays.
The former body was a Protoform Peugeot 905 (french car !), this one is a Porsche 962/956 from PSE.
I tried to give it a more vintage, 80's look, and to emphasize the nice curves of the Porsche.

Let me know which one you like better

I like both bodies, but the Porsche looks perfect mid 80's to me, that gets my vote.

Guaranteed that Reg typed that into Google translator  8)

Thanks all.

Here are pictures of the original race cars.

The Peugeot 905 won the 24h of Le Mans race in 1992 and 1993.

I'm sure most know the Porsche, but I could not resist posting a picture of the beauty. She won at Le Mans in 1986 and 1987.

Both cars also won North-american races in the 80-90's.

Irony is that I now live only 150km from Le Mans, but never had the opportunity to see those beasts on the track

Just because you two are not "French enough" to be from Quebec is not my fault  Eh?
