Swept Arms - JRX2 Chassis

Working on my 5 link racer right now. I had forgotten how flexible the front X2 arms are. I got to thinking about the swept arms.

I was thinking of running them but wonder if they wheelbase will be too short with a stock X2 chassis. Then I got to thinking about using 5 link rear on a JRX Pro/T chassis with swept arms up front to take some of the extra length out.

I am runnning the proSE shock tower and short steering arm and not sure how I feel about the 30 degree kick up of the pro chassis?

Any comment, thoughts etc. Swept arms on stock chassis, pro chassis, other combo ideas.

I know most of this has been covered in one way or another but I am slow to learn

hate to admit it, but i took the flexy arms off and used to run kyosho ultima front arms. maybe you can find andys/rpm fronts?

Losi ran the 30 degree kick up on their production cars, shouldnt be a problem.

I have some RPM swept arms. I also have some Andy's RC-10 ones which with a shim in the inner hinge pin look like they'd work as well too.

I will hunt around and I think I am going to go with pro-chassis for now with 5 link and swept arms.

I have ran the full RPM arms for years, the 5 link has always been to sloppy for me. it was built for a very rough track. if you place is smooth go with the H arms. their was a reason no one else built the 5 link.

I agree the H-arms woudl be the logical choice. But that is what my T4.1 is for though after a couple five link runs I will likley end up on H-arms, but i have to get it out of my system.

 I understand. the 5 link is cool I am going to build one of each. I am going to build a beach runner and I think the 5 link will be cool for that. but for a Vonats car I would run the RPM arms.

I've no personal experience, but I've heard don't run the swept arms with the short chassis. I want to build up an X2 myself, and I think I'm going to just run Ultima arms as well since 1. they are rugged, and 2. i have a spare set already.
