so i got the bug i drove a friends f1o3 and was hooked so i have a cross TF 2 and love it so when i saw a CF-01 Fire Force i grabbed it i have a CROSS CFP-70 Mercedes CLR GT Body-shell to go on it its a shame the livery is so dull on the car any suggestions as to a nice bright scheme
so now the wait starts it would be nice to see what else i will need as the kit is a chassis only kit .

Very cool project, I like the body and fit to the chassis. I have two questions lol, #1 What are you using to cut the wheel arches? I can never get mine to look that clean. #2 Whats with the tape and aluminum bar in the 3rd and 4th pic? Im digging for ideas on how to properly execute the finishing of lexan bodys lol.

the alloy is a straight edge i stick it to the body to cut the long straight lines and the wheel arches are done the a compass first to mark the arch and it then gives you a hole for the hole cutter

and the cutter makes a very good scoring tool for the final trim

Cant wait to see the final build. Does that car have damper front suspension? I have been trying to find an F1 car that has more then the spring suspension (Kinda like the 10L's)

Those tires have the force Jedi :)
