I had gotten a few motors with a replacement lathe I finally bought (been too long to replace the LRP). They are various:

Reedy Spec 19T Quad Magnet motors - bearings, endbell labeled yokomo japan, laydown brushes and adjustable timing.
Epic Motor - wrinkle black finish, bearings, upright brushes and end bell is labeled Epic Japan (0.1uf)- am not sure on this one.
Trinity Chameleon 2 pro PN 2123 - has bearings, no adjustable timing, armature pokes out the endbell a bit, and laydown brushes.
X-star - labeled Epic Japan on the endbell, has bushings, fixed timing, and laydown brushes.
Trinity Experimental Team use only (?) - bearings, adjustable timing, upright brushes, labeled Epic 5.0 on the endbell

Just curious, anything noteworthy, timeframes, and are they decent motors worth a refresh. Any other help or info.

The Reedy 19t Quad Mag is my second favourite 19t motor. It has a mid-sized comm. It'll run great with Reedy 767's and a stiffer positive spring. It souldn't have adjustable timing, have a closer look. The armature should have a white spec tag on it.

The Epic motor sounds like it could be anything, pics needed.

Chameleon 2 is a 19t spec motor, never had any luck with them but other swear by them.

The X-star is a 27t stock motor, I've never had one of these.

Pull the armature out of the last motor, sounds like it might be a mod motor.

All but the X-Star are probably worth a refresh as long as the comm's are still useable. If you're planning on racing you may be putting yourself at a disadvantage though.

I had a couple of the Reedy 19T Spec handout motors that had adjustable timing. We had to mark the can so we didnt crank them past 24 degrees like the fixed timing cans when going through tech. And agreed, some 767s & a stiffer posi spring they were awesome.

Thanks guys, I have 6 of the 19T Reedy so I will probably offload some on here in my for sale post. I can throw the motors into the motor checker and see how they run. I will post pics later of coarse, and get more info.

Speaking of motors, I've been seeing a lot of "Birdman" brushed motors on ebay, but I can't find any info on them. Anyone know about these?
