I got this from Jeff Harris earlier this year when he sold off old gear from a hobby store that closed. I used it in my gold metal shelfer build along with the Tekin 411-G2 ESC

Great Radio - an awesome piece of kit.

That radio is probably the single most "lusted" after radio that I have ever wanted. I wanted one so bad back in the day. Every time I see one now, it brings back those strong feelings of desire to own one.

Hang onto it - its a treasure!

Cheers

The radio kicked butt in the cars but really shined in the boats. The ability to add torque steer, the kill switch feature and the third channel for a trim tab was killer.

Thanks guys! Yep, it just sits on the shelf, but it's so nice to hold. I have bought (and since sold) some beat versions on ebay and the forums and it actually hurt my memories of this great radio. Luckily I have this minty fresh one to remind me of what it really was like when new!

I love mine!! Pretty darned old, well used and still my favorite gear. Think I might have to get it out and charge up some batteries and take something out for a drive.

I remember the day I bought mine (new) from the store. As I was driving home, I pulled over just so I can play with the radio...and it had that "new radio smell" It's the only radio I've used ever since. Throughout the years, I've been lucky to pick up about 4-5 in total.

When I race my RC10 in mod buggy, this is the radio I use- digital steering servo though and it works as good as my 4pk-

I always wanted one as well but they were way out of my price range. Heck, thought I was king when I got the Magnum Jr and that was still pushing it price wise.

I bought and used two of these "back in the day" when I was racing 1/12th and 1/10th scale on road. Absolutely GREAT radio. The electronic adjustments made it really easy to set up a car and change to fine tune to a different track. I still have them both, receivers and some servos. They both still work great. I would never get rid of them.
