Lovely

Any chance of posting a pic of the underside of the chassis plate, at the front of the car? Always wondered if the proto had a kick up molded or whatever it had..

Looks like a locked spur. Wondering if the mx4 slipper clutch was developed after this prototype car?

That's a really beautiful car, i love all the machined aluminium and nylon parts, it's obvious that it was a prototype. A very well executed one.
What's that shock-looking thing on the top plate, was it adjustable to tune chassis flex?

I think that was supposed to increase front traction by allowing a certain amount of give in the chassis. Ive never driven the mx4,, but ive driven an mr4bc,, and it was pretty lively up front.
Very cool piece of yokomo history that car. It looks to be near perfect. Does the owner have any more race history on it? The design is quite beautiful. Production models not quite as pretty.

Wow what an awesome build, it really shows just how far advanced yokomo was, they were way ahead of there time.
