I just scored this on the 'Bay...I hope I'm not mistaken, but isn't this comparable to the OT-76 Hard Final Pinion Gear? I confirmed with some searching that it's made out of steel.

I noticed the wrong header on ebay also. It is for an optima and not optima mid indeed. Only question remaining : is it the correct pitch or is it for use with thorps smaller pitched diff...

I got with a counter gear set all made by Throp/Dirt Burners.

The final pinion is the same as Kyoshos but a little heavier . Better Steel.

As long as it's better than the craptastic aluminum stock gear, it's all good!

Just a quick confirmation--received the gear today, it's an exact match for the stock OT-41 gear. It's made of steel however, and is significantly heavier than the stock aluminum gear. As OT-76 hard final pinion gears are few and far between (and expensive as heck when you find them), I'm pretty lucky I discovered this Dirt Burners unit!
