RC10 - Baja Bug Project

Here are some pics of my RC10 Baja Bug project. I first got my RC10 in 1985 with the gold pan design. Over the years it evolved from many parts from "Hot Trick Stuff" to include a red graphite chassis, red bumper and red support rails, new front/rear shock towers, and eventually I upgraded it to the stealth transmission before letting it collect rust in my shed for the past 15 years.
I recently bought a Proline Baja Bug shell and realized after painting it, that I needed to shorten the chassis by 2" in order to get a decent fit on the wheel wells, doh! I decided to experiment with a piece of 3/16" polycarbonate and made my own custom chassis. Then I went ahead and completely rebuilt the transmission to ensure that all the ball bearings are in good working condition and applied fresh grease.
I am about to upgrade it with a 60Amp - 3200Kv Brushless System and can't wait to see how fast she goes!
