eBay Batmobile

Ok,

I had heard that the original Batmobile from the Keaton era movies was for sale on eBag through the Top Gear website.....unfortunately $400K is a bit out of my league.

But I did stumble accross this...way cool.

I've always had a soft spot for the first two Batmobiles,

I figure most of us car/RC geeks would dig this though:

boy, talk about a flashback for me. that batmobile auction and price reminded me of the dead pool rc10 (car #1) that went up on ebay back in 07'.

For 4 grand, I'm less than impressed. Looks like the body was made out of shaped clay before being rattle-can painted without even the benefit of wet-sanding and rubbing out the orange peel. :?
