I would be suprised if Ryan was currently campaigning cars with GIANT front bumpers like in the pic  .

+1 on the bumper. I use one but I need it....a pro doesn't.

Send pictures of it to Mayfield and see if it rings a bell to him.

Not sure but I'm sure you can contact him through one of his sponsors.

Even if it was built by Mayfied in the first place, the current owner certainly isn't up to par with Mayfield's skills and level if only beause no serious racer uses a traxxas speedo... The little that Ryan *might* have with this car has prolly long vanished... I can smell half-empty shocks, gritty diff, binding and sloppy suspension, wood screws, and so on

Keep your money ;)

I would have to agree at this point that the "Built by Mayfield" sales pitch is not going to add to the value of the car.

it was for a trade, but it just seems a little off, just contact by text. with out typeing the whole story he said his friend a sponsored driver, and that ryan built and painted it (flag for me) in AZ he moved here. tried to make it sound like some car parts where marked "parts are weight numbered if you know where to look" flag to me again

There's no signifigance if it didn't come directly from the pro driver to you. It's current owner has un-pro'd it so now it's the same as any B4.

If you're a decent builder, then there's no difference than Ryan's car and yours anyway.

Now if it were a current Losi pro's car, that's a different story. They do all kinds of weird stuff.

Ya i see Ryan every weekend at the local track SRS. He is a really cool guy and will help anyone. He told me that he builds his car just like everyone else. nothing special. In fact he gets alot of the return parts from Associated. Nothing special at all.
