Anyone know the size of the nylock nut (A&L No. 289) that fits this slipper? I need some new ones...
Thanks

I'm under the impression LOSI A-6302 5-40 nuts will fit.

Nope. Have a new package of em and tried one, no go. I thought that too and ordered some, but no go. HELP!
Seems like the long set screw on the A&L is a different diameter or thread pitch than the Losi long set screw included with the A3120 shaft.

Not to sound weird, but you know the little boards Lowes, Home Depot, Ace and other hardware stores have with different threads and nuts? If you had your Layshaft out you might be able to take it there and see what your thread size is by test fitting it in one of those setups?
Just throwing that out there, other than that I believe Daryl Lane is a member here and you could PM him to ask.

They are 6-32, 1st line in instructions say to put the 6/23 set screw into the top shaft of the tranny. Our Power Clutch for the losi Tranny comes with a new top shaft drilled and tapped for the 6/32 set screw.
Sorry I did not answer sooner have not been here in a while. You guys are more then welcome to e-mail me your tech questions.

Thanks so much Daryl, I think its great that u are a contributor to this site......I couldn't read the instruction sheet cause it was too small a pic on here, but I could make out the parts list. So they are just plain 6-32 steel nylon locknuts? Sweet.
Also, could you please send me one of everything you've made (and some more slipper pads too { thanks again to LTO_Dave! })?

JK
Nice to meet you!

You are welcome Dave - no problem I just need a new 427 small block for my 65 Malibu - sounds like a fair trade....
