HI!... Same guy I got the HOTSHOT II from had this. A buddy wanted it then backed out. I thought it was cool looking so I grabbed it (cheap).

Nice! I was looking at picking one up for myself.

I didn't know they re-released that. Out of all the R/C's what was the logic behind that one? "Sir we need to decide on what the next model we re-release is going to be. How about the Blackfoot? Nah, that was never really popular. Wait I got it! How about the Tyrell P34?? Brilliant!" Don't get me wrong its cool as hell but really?

Too bad the 1:1 design ultimately ended up being a bust. I read the history about it some time ago and it was pretty interesting.

6-wheelers are cool! i always liked that 6 wheeled f-1 car, could you just imagine sitting in the seat and seeing all that rubber out in front of you.

It's not a real re-release, apart from the body. It sits on a modified F103 chassis.

This re-release was out a long time ago, I'm pretty sure it was out before the re-re Lunchbox.

HI!... Well the 6 wheeler showed up today. Was in really good condition. Needs a few thing to make it to my liking. It's needs one side mirror and a rad for the drivers side.

From memory, Tamiya has now released a 6-wheel Tyrrell three times.... the original (58003, Tamiya's third car!), the first re-re (49154, seems to be a close remaking of the body on a different chassis), and the most recent, the 1976 Japanese GP version (84111 Limited Ed.) which seems to be slightly different in look (different coloured and placed numbers for one). Note that I don't count the XB release as an extra release.....

if they did a re-re with the aluminium chassis and a 380...i'd be all over that. ive been trying to piece one together for years now.
